Big Win for the Elkhorn Antlers

Wayne, Judy, Grace, Jenny, Virgil, and Parker
in front of our motel just before the game.
Our grandson's football team, The Elkhorn Antlers, won their semi-final game against McCook 24 - 10 on Friday night. Wayne and I made the five hour drive to see the game along with lots of Elkhorn fans. It was a wonderful event, full of joy. We are proud of our grandson and so happy for him and his team mates.

It was cold at the game but we were bundled up and stayed relatively comfortable throughout. We spent the night in a local motel and drove home on Saturday. The championship game will be played on November 25 at Memorial Stadium on the University of Nebraska campus in Lincoln. Wayne and I will drive to Lincoln for the game then on to Omaha where we'll spend Thanksgiving week-end. We're looking forward to all of it.
