Memories of Tucson

As I watch the snow falling outside my windows in Estes Park, I'm posting additional photos of our month in Tucson. It won't be spring here for several weeks. Eight inches of snow fell overnight.

A Blooming Wonder

When we left for a month in Tucson, my Christmas Cactus showed no sign of blooming. It was full of buds when we returned, and here it is today, blooming like crazy! My daughter-in-law gave this plant to my mom last Christmas. After Mom died in July, I put the plant in a sunny south window. My neighbor watered it once on Valentine's Day. It almost feels like Mom is sending me spring cheer on this cold wintry day.
